What services do we provide?
We provide comprehensive speech-language services to children aging from birth to 18 years of age. Services range from consultations, evaluations, and intervention.
How do I know if my child needs speech-language therapy?
You should always consult your child’s pediatrician if you have any concerns regarding your child’s overall development. A speech-language evaluation should be considered if there are concerns with your child’s communication skills.
Where do services take place?
Little Chatterbox Therapy Services specializes in providing speech-language therapy in the comfort of the child’s natural environment which is most frequently their home. We extend our services to the River Grove, Oak Park, Forest Park, Norridge, and Park Ridge areas. Please contact us for specific questions regarding location.
What is the cost and how do I pay for services?
We are currently only accepting private pay clients. Please contact us directly for information regarding pricing.
How long are speech-language intervention sessions?
Each intervention plan is customized to the child including frequency and duration of sessions. Sessions are most commonly 45 minutes once a week. Sessions can vary from 30-60 minutes for a frequency ranging from single sessions to multiple sessions weekly depending on your child’s individual needs.
What does a speech-language intervention session look like?
Intervention goals are determined after the completion of an evaluation and are designed for your child’s unique needs. The structure of the sessions vary depending on the child’s age, learning style, and skill areas that are being supported. The sessions include implementation of therapeutic activities and strategies to work towards achieving the child’s goals.
